I've sworn off smoking, drinking, and drugs; if I give up sweets, the only pleasure I'll be left with is self-righteousness.

    And what an intoxicating pleasure that one is!! You have to have a few vices so we can all continue to pretend that the attainment of perfection is not possible. Society does not treat the perfect well... ;)
